Job Description:
Home Instead in Rockford is seeking an energetic, team-oriented individual to join our team. The Alzheimers & Dementia Training Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of training and engagement of staff. This position is responsible for assisting in scheduling of clients and Caregivers to provide the highest quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
- MUST HAVE previous training experience in Alzheimer's and Healthcare or equivalent experience working with Alzheimer's patients of at least five years.
- 3-5 years of healthcare experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- College degree or LPN REQUIRED.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, schedule, and conduct Caregiver training
- Manage, schedule, and conduct Caregiver Orientation
- Develop engagement strategies that promote Caregiver retention and satisfaction
- Prepare and publish the monthly newsletter within deadline
- Evaluate and update all training materials
- After-hours on-call as needed, as requested, and as scheduled by supervisor
